These instruments are now being produced in new state-of-the-art factories. All F. Schmidt instruments represent a combination of the best in European traditional craftsmanship and state of the art technology, resulting in an even response with minimal resistance. This allows the musician to perform with greater ease.
Designed for players needing a C trumpet with the feel of a Bb, the F. Schmidt E180S C trumpet has a vivid yet broad tone well suited for symphonic and solo repertoire. The one-piece plasma welded yellow brass bell produces a big, rich, warm sound with great projection. The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. The 1st slide thumb saddle make for easy intonation adjustments while the Monel pistons provide smooth quick action. These features combined with a .462 large bore allow the player to produce a well-rounded sound well suited for all orchestral literature. A mouthpiece and a wood frame deluxe case are included with this trumpet. All F. Schmidt trumpets have a six year limited warranty on parts and workmanship.
