It's crazy, I know, but it's just crazy enough to work. We took the same gauges from our six string super lights and slapped a .054 on the bottom there so you can play all those extra low notes.

Just like the rest of our electric sets, this one is tension balanced so you can have a smooth playing experience from string to string across the entire neck of the guitar.

To build this set we took the plain strings from our Super Lights and paired them with the wound strings from our Lights to create a set of guitar strings that is better than ever. Think of it like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Peanut butter is good on it's own, and jelly is good on its own, but when you combine them together is when the magic happens.

This makes for a set of strings that is great anytime and will never let you down, much like that peanut butter and jelly sandwich we spoke about earlier.

I'm sure you know this by now, but a typical seven string light gauge set goes 10/13/17/26/36/46/56 (or 59). But whoever came up with those gauges was, to put it bluntly, wrong.

There are some major tensions issues that arise, specifically with the 13 and the 46. If you've played one of those sets, you've probably noticed a dip in tension on those two strings, making them feel all loosey-goosey.

On our set, we use a 13.5, a 48, and a 60 for the 2nd, 6th, and 7th strings, respectively, in order to bring the tension up on those strings to match the strings around them.

This results in a set that feels tighter, sounds powerful, and stays in the tune better. Who wouldn't want that?
