Realistic Amps and Mics in Pedal Format

Inject the most celebrated amps, cabinets, and microphones into your pedalboard with the NUX Solid Studio MKII. This stompbox modeler puts the power of eight guitar preamps, eight microphones, and selectable power sections at your feet and ready to send to any PA, console, or audio interface. Using a combination of its Cyber IR engine and TSAC-4K algorithm, NUX faithfully replicates every electrical interaction between your chosen preamp, power amp, speaker, and microphone combinations with studio-ready tone. Guitarists agree that whether driven directly with your favorite pedals or your amp and cabinet pair via the Through jack, the Solid Studio MKII's versatile output options deem it more than a simple pedal-size amp modeler. With a third-party IR loader, additional reverb and delay effects, PC/Mac editor software, and an auxiliary input and headphone output for silent practicing, the NUX Solid Studio MKII is your portable gigging, practicing, and recording solution for any situation thrown your way.

A plethora of amps and mics

The Solid Studio MKII not only replicates the amp circuitry of numerous popular amps but also turns your pedalboard into an amp technician’s workbench, able to substitute each amp’s preamp and power sections with different circuitry to customize your virtual amp’s behavior. Once set, microphone selection and placement are available to finalize your core tone, courtesy of Cyber IR technology. Prefer to use your own IRs? The Solid Studio MKII also features an IR loader with space for 60 IRs per side (60 IRs for your left output and 60 IRs for your right output), ensuring you’ll never run out of space. Best of all, cab and IR selections work independently with each output, allowing you to mix and match your favorite speaker types and IR combinations simultaneously.

Flexible routing options

While generally intended to be a direct solution for pedal platforms, the Solid Studio MKII can be run with your favorite tube amp and cabinet, offering a quick, quality solution for direct sound without the hassle of searching for the “sweet spot” on your cabinet — a feature that receives high praise from Sweetwater’s live amp purists. Once properly configured, the preamp and power amp simulations are automatically bypassed, sending a perfectly miked signal to your console or PA.

Note: The Solid Studio MKII is not an attenuator or load box. Any amplifier you wish to use must have a proper speaker load or load box attached.
